Lists of Proposed Deletions & Additions to the RPS


South Tipperary County Council is currently making additions and deletions to the Record of Protected Structures (RPS) for the Council area under Section 55 of the Planning & Development Acts 2000-2007. It is necessary to review the RPS to provide for the incorporation of certain structures identified as of regional, national or international importance in the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (NIAH). The NIAH was published by the Department of Environment, Heritage & Local Government in 2007. The planning authority, having carried out a survey of the existing RPS, has also deemed it appropriate to propose the deletion of certain structures from the RPS at this time. The lists of proposed deletions and additions are attached hereunder for inspection. Written submissions or observations regarding proposed additions and deletions can be made by clicking on the appropriate link below. All submissions must be made on or before Monday 15th February 2010. Submissions or observations will be taken into consideration before the making of any addition or deletion as the case may be to the Record of Protected Structures.
