From 2008-2010 over 118 people died in domestic fires nation wide, 5 of these deaths occurred in South Tipperary. Shockingly of these five domestic fires four house were confirmed not to have a working smoke alarm, the damage was such in the fifth house that the presence of a smoke alarm could not be determined. Smoke Alarms Save Lives, please ensure you install and maintain a working smoke alarm.
