Exhibitions: A regular programme of in house and visiting exhibitions, covering a wide range of topics supplements our exhibitions on the history of the county.

South Tipperary County Museum been awarded with Interim Accreditation in the Museum Standards Programme for Ireland for Excellence in Caring for Collections, Museum Management, Education, Exhibition and Visitors Services
South Tipperary County The museums award winning educational programmes & community exhibitions have received raved reviews from participating schools, retirement groups & local community groups. The museum would encourage groups to make them known to the museum in order to schedule future community exhibitions.
Educational Facility: Our educational facility also includes workshops, talks, demonstrations and educational activities. An area for children to colour and read is available in the foyer of the museum.
Location: Adjoining the museum is the branch Library, South Tipperary County Council buildings, Band hall and Swimming Pool. The museum is within the Mick Delahunty Square, named after one of Clonmels many musical legends, which in turn, contains a statue to the noted tenor Frank Patterson.
