    Road Opening Licence - Application Form
    South Tipperary County Council's Road Maintenance Services requires that anyone who wishes to dig up a section of road or footpath first obtain a Road Opening Licence. The licence application form can be obtained by contacting Road Maintenance Services directly at: (052) 34535 or downloading the above application form .Note:  Before any work is carried out on a public road or footpath the applicant must submit the application form and obtain permission from South Tipperary  Council's Roadworks department and from the appropriate Utilities regarding their services (ie: ESB, Bord Gais etc...).

    Abnormal Load Permit - Application Form
    When is an abnormal load permit required?
    A permit is required when the load being transported is in excess of the guidelines outlined in the Road Traffic (Construction and Use of Vehicles) Regulations 2003.The Road Traffic Regulations pertaining to Abnormal Loads are available under www.transport.ie No. 5 2003 - Road Traffic (Construction and Use of Vehicles).
