About the Environment Section

The Environment Section has responsibility for environmental protection throughout South Tipperary. This involves the enforcement of environmental legislation in the areas of waste management and pollution control.  The directorate is also responsible for the enhancement of the local environment, and promotes sustainability through environmental awareness initiatives.
