About the Environment Section
The Environment Section has responsibility for environmental protection throughout South Tipperary. This involves the enforcement of all environmental legislation in the areas of waste management and pollution control. The directorate is also responsible for the enhancement of the environment of the county, and promotes sustainability through Environmental Awareness initiatives.The Director of Services is Sean Keating.
