Holycross Local Area Plan 2006
The Holycross Local Area Plan 2006 (LAP) was prepared by North and South Tipperary County Councils. The plan was adopted by South Tipperary County Council on the 16th January 2006 and North Tipperary County Council on the 23rd January 2006. The aim of the Holycross LAP is to ensure the proper planning and sustainable development of the village to 2012 and beyond. It will therefore facilitate the coordinated social, economic, cultural and environmental development of Holycross and the conservation and enhancement of its natural and built environment.
A resolution was passed by South Tipperary and North Tipperary County Council in December 2010 to extend the Holycross Local Area Plan 2006 for a period not exceeding 5 years. This resolution has the effect of extending the lifetime of the Holycross Local Area Plan for a period not exceeding 5 years (not beyond 12th December 2015).(
