Planning & Development (Amendement) Act 2010
The Act seeks to support economic renewal and promote sustainable development by ensuring that the provisions of development plans and local area plans are streamlined with national and regional development objectives as set out in the National Spatial Strategy and in the Regional Planning Guidelines. One of the key objectives is to support targeted investment on infrastructure by the State and modernise land zoning.
